Jarryd, the founder and principal of MAP Architects, is a highly skilled architect with almost two decades of experience in the building industry. He graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2012 and was awarded the Corobrik Student's Award in recognition for his achievements.
Throughout his career, Jarryd has been involved in the realization of projects of all scopes and sizes, from small residential buildings to large commercial complexes. He has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of building design and construction.
As the founder and principal of MAP Architects, Jarryd is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's operations, including project management, design, and client relations. He is committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable architecture that meets the needs and aspirations of his clients.
Junior Mentz
M.Arch.Prof.
Junior, an individual whose background spans both the realms of artistry and architecture, brings a unique perspective to the studio. Before joining MAP in October of 2021, Junior spent four years honing his craft as a street and graffiti artist. With this dynamic combination of skills, his is poised to make significant contributions to the firm and is a valuable addition to the team.
Ngoako Rangwato
B.Tech.Arch.
Born in Pretoria and raised in Polokwane, Ngoako is 27 year old architect who already has 7 years of experience. Having graduated with a B.Tech at the Durban University of Technology, Ngoako started his career in his 2nd year of studying already. Ngoako is a brilliant designer and a very talented render artist, having honed his craft in corporate and boutique architectural srudios. His tremendous ability and warm personality makes him an invaluable asset to MAP.
Ngoako describes his insights into architectural design by stating: “I have come to understand that architecture is a creative pursuit that involves a deep comprehension of the space and atmosphere in which it exists. It is about designing optimal human habitats within the given parameters whilerespecting the context”
